Concept and Design

Designed by Sebastian Herkner, Stock’n Roll comprises a collection of storage units inspired by jewelry boxes, characterized by a sleek but exclusive design featuring intricate details and luxury materials. Stock’n Roll can be placed next to an armchair or used as a bedside table on either side of the bed. It is cylindrically shaped with the edge of the cover deviating slightly from the body, forming a handle inviting it to be opened.

The Stock ‘n Roll bedside table is designed for those who want to bring an object into the bedroom that goes beyond the traditional function of a nightstand. It is not merely a surface beside the bed, but a piece with a strong formal identity, capable of transforming the bedside area into a more expressive and personal part of the room. Sebastian Herkner’s signature reflects an approach in which materials, proportions and visual presence come together to create a piece of furniture that naturally draws attention without sacrificing the practicality required for everyday life.

The Stock ‘n Roll bedside table is particularly suited to people looking for a nightstand with more personality than usual, one that complements the bed and the other furnishings through a less conventional design language. In a contemporary master bedroom, a private suite or a high-end guest room, it can become the detail that breaks the predictability of the overall composition, introducing a more sophisticated, creative and distinctive character. It is therefore ideal for those who want more than a simple functional accessory, seeking a furnishing element that actively contributes to the room’s overall identity.

Beside the bed, a piece of this kind meets the needs of those who want to keep personal items close at hand in an organised yet elegant way. Books, glasses, evening accessories, electronic devices, small everyday objects and decorative pieces can all find their place in a unit that brings order without compromising its aesthetic impact. In this sense, it is an excellent choice for people who see the bedroom not merely as a functional space, but as an environment in which every detail contributes to the atmosphere.

Stylistically, the Stock ‘n Roll bedside table fits naturally into contemporary and soft-luxury bedrooms, as well as interiors that explore the contrast between clean lines and more sculptural objects. It works particularly well alongside upholstered beds, statement headboards, soft rugs, understated wall finishes and sophisticated colour palettes, where it introduces a more original and dynamic visual accent. It is therefore ideal for those seeking a furnishing piece that adds movement and elegance to the room without making it feel heavy.

This bedside table is also an excellent choice for those furnishing a bedroom with a more creative or international aesthetic, where every piece is selected for its expressive potential as well as its practical value. In these settings, it meets the desire for a less predictable, more distinctive and memorable bedside accessory, suited to people who appreciate carefully curated interiors that avoid a standardised look. Its presence can make the room feel more personal, cultured and recognisable, especially when paired with other pieces featuring bold yet well-balanced designs.

In a suite or high-end guest bedroom, the Stock ‘n Roll bedside table can help create a richer and more refined experience. It is particularly suitable for those who want even the smallest furnishing accessories to convey attention to detail, character and design quality. In this context, the bedside table does more than provide a convenient surface: it helps establish a more exclusive and visually striking atmosphere in which every element reflects careful consideration.

For those who enjoy composing a bedroom with almost bespoke precision, this piece also offers an opportunity to create intriguing contrasts: between soft shapes and crisp lines, technical surfaces and warmer materials, practical functionality and visual surprise. It is therefore ideal for anyone seeking a small bedside table with a strong presence, one that does not dominate the room but contributes thoughtfully and precisely to its overall design narrative.
